Intended Use

As
an aid in diagnosis of liver diseases ( SGPT is more liver-specific enzyme
than SGOT),  myocardial
infarction, muscular dystrophy and organ damage. When increased with SGOT
with negative hepatitis markers can suggest infectious mononucleosis.

Limitations

Grossly hemolyzed samples, excessive lipemia; Measuring
range: 4.0 to 600 U/L.
