Uremia is best evaluated with creatinine. Low results in
normal pregnancy; decreased protein intake and with some antibiotics;

Measuring range:

Serum/Plasma = 3.0 to 240 mg/dL urea

or 1.4 to 112 mg/dL urea nitrogen,

Urine  = 6.0 to
12000 mg/dL urea

or 2.8 to 5600 mg/dL urea
nitrogen.
