Limitations

Of the drugs tested, alfa-methyldopa, desferoxamine, calcium
dobesilate (and possibly other) cause interference.

Measuring
range:

Serum/Plasma  0.2
to 25 mg/dL.

Patient Preparation

Ideally: At least a 4 hour fast is
preferred.
