Use

To evaluate disorders known to cause abnormal phosphorus levels: increased
levels can be found in renal failure, vit. D intoxication, hypoparathyroidism, bone metastases, liver disease. Decreased levels in reckets, vit. D deficiency, sepsis, hyperparathyroidism and Fanconi’s syndrome.
